E-Release Form

If your vehicle was involved in an accident and you would like to release the vehicle to your insurance company you: 1. can physically come to the storage facility and fill out a release form (immediate processing) or 2. electronically fill out the form below (up to 24 hour processing time). Please note: Not all vehicles are eligible for electronic release. A vehicle will be released only at the request of the legally registered owner. An E-Release can take up to 24 hours to process due to technical aspects beyond our control. Immediate processing is available by physically coming into the impound facility.

By typing my electronic signature below, I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that I am legally authorized and entitled to take possession and release, to a third party, the vehicle described above and do hereby relieve and guarantee to protect the agency named above, their officers, employees, and agents against loss or liability by reason of delivering possession of said vehicle to me, my agent, or an authorized third party accruing against said vehicle occasioned by the impounding of the same. Furthermore, I have collected all personal items in the vehicle, including sound systems, radios, and after-market modifications and I agree the above named agency is not responsible for any personal property left in vehicle. I have inspected vehicle and agree it has been released to my custody or the custody of my agent in satisfactory condition and without post tow damage. I have provided the above named agency with photo identification and give permission to keep on file. As per 625ILCS5/4-203(10) the subsequent wavier is optional, is not a condition of vehicle release, and may be declined. Waiver: I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and protect the above named agency, its employees, affiliate companies, and its agents from any claim, suit, or action brought against it by myself or a third party acting on my behalf for damages or other liability sustained or arising from the completion of the towing, recovery, storage, and vehicle release process. I agree transaction is complete and accept this vehicle without recourse.

If you wish to decline the waiver do not hit submit. Your vehicle is not eligible for electronic release. You must physically come to the tow yard to first inspect your vehicle, collect personal items, and then sign a form authorizing the release of the vehicle to your possession or a third party.
